John Wu
John Wu is an IT systems architect of a large Unix and Windows based environment at a large government agency. In the past, Mr. Wu has provided expert IT consulting for major companies such as Acxiom, Microsoft's MSN, Earthlink, JP Morgan Chase Bank, and UCLA. He has over 15 years experience working in information technology and Internet technology.
When writing, John covers business, computers, health, finance, outdoor activities, and education. He has won Suite 101 editor's award for his articles on cat litter, online password security,and proxy servers .
In his spare time, Mr. Wu enjoys running trails during the summer, snowboarding during the winter, and watching football during the fall. One fun fact about John is that he's climbed Half Dome, Mt. Whitney, and ran the New York City marathon with a ten minute mile pace.
Mr. Wu holds a B.A. in legal studies from the University of California at Berkeley. He also holds system engineer certifications from Red Hat and Oracle.
